Course Description

As a volunteer, helping a youth achieve their fullest potential can sometimes be a challenging task. This is particularly so if you are a new volunteer. This e-learning course equips learners with the basic skills and techniques required in building an enjoyable volunteering experience with youth. It includes interactive, self-paced modules. At the end of each module, there will also be a quiz that helps to consolidate your learning.

Learning Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner will be able to :

• Describe the common characteristics of a youth
• Know your role as a volunteer
• Learn the different strategies to engage a youth
• Learn to be aware of different culture practices
