Course Description

This course is designed to help volunteers manage inevitable interpersonal conflicts among volunteers, through recognizing triggers and its possible causes and effects. It equips learners with the Conflict Response Matrix and the Conflict Management Process for conflict management in volunteerism. Volunteer would explore what Hot Buttons are and how recognizing such triggers could minimize conflicts.

Learning Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner will be able to :

  • Understand what conflict is and effects it brings
  • Appreciate the importance of managing conflict
  • Learn how to recognize triggers and manage conflicts
