Course Description

We find ourselves handling awkward situations from time to time when we serve the public. Learners will be able to identify triggers of such situations, explore the range of strategies and tools to handle awkward situations. Learners will also appreciate the need to practice self- care to regain balance after encountering awkward situations.

 

Learning Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the course, the learner will be able to :

    • Understand why one finds certain situations awkward
    • Adopt the tools to handle awkward situations
    • Practice self-care after encountering awkward situations
